Wow the food was very good . I loved it. Will go again soon. The wait staff were great too. It was full of diners. Make reservation.

Always excellent food, service and clean restaurant in a white tablecloth setting. These were tonight’s lamb chops and veal chop specials. Very good! Soup of the day was a traditional vegetable red bean soup the kind of soup I grew up eating regularly in a Portuguese household. Tasted just like grandma used to make. Not a cheap dinner by any means specials were $60 and $49 but I did get 8 baby lamp chops and the preparations are excellent and authentic Portuguese food. We also have leftovers for another dinner tomorrow. Manny is the best waiter I always enjoy it extra when he serves us. 😌

Excellent from the beginning to walking out the door. Have been here numerous times and the seafood is fresh every time. Service is superb, any dish I’ve had was great.

What a great place. Even though we live in the area, this was our first time there. Had lunch. Started with the shrimp in garlic sauce appetizer. Wow. If you like garlic & shrimp, this is a must try. This was the best we’ve ever had. We were first introduced to this appetizer years ago at another Spanish Portuguese restaurant and have always ordered it when at a similar place. Main entree was a stuffed salmon and pork chop in a balsamic sauce. My wife said the salmon was fantastic and the pork was excellent. My wife mentioned she really liked the vegi’s as they were fresh, not prepared from frozen. The staff was great. Friendly, courteous and attentive. It’s been a while since we’ve seen this since the pandemic. Keep in mind we don’t go out that often but when we do, we like to get the most from it without breaking the bank. Vila Verde definitely succeeded and is something to rave about. Will be going back for sure. Probably for dinner the next time.

Top notch quality meal and oversized portions made this experience well worth the short drive from home!! Super friendly and attentive staff during my Valentine's dinner with family also was another notch on my list. I recommend the swordfish and french onion soup as it was a fresh catch of the day!!!!!!

This restaurant is one of the best in north jersey and my personal favorite. I’ve been coming here for years for our annual work Christmas party and personally every year ordering my Christmas Eve seafood dishes. The restaurant is beautiful very European and the food, especially the mariscada is delicious. Lastly, the service here is like no other the gentlemen working here are exactly that - chivalrous and treat you very well. I can’t say enough great things about this place.

I have driven past this place for years and never noticed it was there. The Food is fabulous and our waiter Manny was just as good. I had the shrimp and garlic sauce and I would definitely recommend it. I tasted the soft shell crab special and the Paella Valencia and they were very good. The prices and servings are similar to other Spanish/Portuguese restaurants in the Ironbound district in Newark, but it's nice to have a gem so close in Wayne.
